From a vineyard located in a calcareous-limestone slope placed at 900 meters altitude, and formed from native Tempranillo variety clones, we produce our wine Camino Soria. Our main goal is to take care of the vineyard because only from the best grapes can produce a unique wine from Ribera del Duero.

The variety with which we make our wines is the Tempranillo one, which it is also called locally Tinta Tinta. We only work with native clones of Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, and adapted to the hard conditions of our land. Thus, our logo with the two warriors fighting expresses the resistance character of the grape, also fighting to survive in the extreme weather conditions of the area , going over 35 degrees Celsius (95?F) during the day up to 5 degrees Celsius(41?F) overnight in the maturity period . Indeed, these are Celtiberians warriors who lived in the area in the 3rd century BC, who fought till the end to avoid the entry of the Roman Empire in their land.

Camino Soria expressed the concept of "terroir", including the converge of the hard weather characteristics of the Ribera del Duero, a grape variety adapted to such conditions, the typicality of our soils and the work we make to ensure a short limited production of less than 3,000 kg. per Hectarea , all of them leading to the best quality grapes.

After picking the grapes by hand in boxes of 20 kilos, is carried to the winery where we have the most modern means to obtain a high expression wine including selection table to make a selection of the grapes, then we enter the grapes into the fermentation tank by gravity without using pumps in order to prevent oxidations, leading to a wine full of aromas and intense red color.

After a cold maceration of 5 days to improve color, the grapes initiates the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature controlled, then the wine makes the malolactic fermentation process with their own microbial population. Later it is introduced into the oak barrels, which are carefully selected, keeping a composition of 70% French oak and 30% American oak, which increases the complexity and elegance of our wines.
